Please join us for our annual Father's Day Weekend shakedown cruise and rendezvous at the Hingham Yacht Club! This fun weekend trip to Hingham is a great opportunity to socialize with members and kick off the season. The sailing time from Manchester to Hingham is approximately four hours. Moorings and launch service are provided by the Hingham Yacht Club and the club is well-equipped with fuel, ice, water, and showers. They have been hosting this annual event for over thirty years.
On Saturday evening, June 15th at 1800 we will hold our rendezvous onboard a raft of MYC vessels. Our trademark Green Watering Cans along with wine and soft drinks will be offered. Please bring an appetizer to share and toast the start of a wonderful new season on the water.
On Sunday morning, June 16th, the HYC will once again be holding their Father's Day Brunch and MYC members and their guests are invited to attend (for a fee). After the brunch, head back to MYC for the evening Father's Day Gam on the floats.
Please register below by Saturday, June 8th. Please register as soon as possible so arrangements with HYC regarding boats and visitors can be made. In the registration notes please let us know your boat name, length, draft, and type (power or sail) for complimentary mooring accommodations. Also, let us know if you plan to attend the Sunday brunch and the head count of attendees. In the past, cash payment for the brunch has been required.
